Bulgarian High School Team Wins Gold, Bronze at Intl Astronomy Olympiad

Bulgaria's national high school team won one gold and one bronze medal at the 5th International Olympiad on Astronomy and Astrophysics in Poland.
The news was reported by the head of the team, DScTech Alexey Stoev.
The event, which brought together over 150 participants from 30 countries, took place in the Polish cities of Krakow and Katowice in the period August 26 – September 03.
Bulgaria's team included Momchil Molnar from Ruse, Konstantin Gundev from Plovdiv,Miroslav Radomirov from Haskovo, Miroslav Zhekov from Dimitrovgrad and Vasil Todorinov from Sofia.
The gold medal went to Momchil, Konstantin won bronze and Miroslav Radomirov was awarded an honorary citation.
