Bulgaria Evacuates Embassy Staff from Tehran Amid Rising Security Risks

France reopened its embassy in the Libyan capital Tripoli Monday, following a six months' closure, a foreign ministry spokesperson said.
"Our embassy in Tripoli has reopened today," Bernard Valero announced, adding that Antoine Sivan, France's envoy to the National Transitional Council (NTC) would arrive in Tripoli as soon as the highest-ranking authorities of the rebel forces moved to the Libyan capital.
"A diplomatic team led by Pierre Seillan, a deputy to Antoine Sivan, arrived this morning in Libya's capital and immediately settled at the embassy premises", Valero told journalists.
France, the first country to recognize the NTC as Libya's legitimate government, closed its embassy in Tripoli on February 26 and evacuated its entire staff amid concerns for their safety in the city controlled by pro-Gaddafi forces at the time.
On March 29, the country appointed 53-year-old Arabic-speaking diplomat Antoan Sivan as its representative to the rebel-led NTC.
