The son of a prosecutor from the Sofia City Prosecutor's Office has been detained for illegal drugs possession.
After being stopped for a routine check in his car in Sofia's Studentski Grad (College Town) district, Nikolay Kolev was arrested since police found inside the automobile cocaine, amphetamines and cannabis.
The young man has been kept behind bars for 24 hours and then released, according to the TV channel bTV. Charges are still pending.
His file has been sent to the Regional Prosecutor's Office in order to avoid conflict of interests.
