An overturned tank truck blocked Bulgaria's Trakiya highway for hours Wednesday morning. File photo
An empty tank truck overturned in the wee hours Wednesday on the main Trakiya highway in Bulgaria, near the second largest city of Plovdiv.
The information was reported by the Plovdiv police, saying the accident occurred around 3:30 am at the 130th kilometer of the highway in the direction of the city of Stara Zagora.
The driver, 39, from Stara Zagora, has sustained light injuries.
After the incident, the highway in the area was closed for traffic and all vehicles were detoured through the city of Plovdiv.
The highway is now open, after the tank was removed from the road.
