Estonia Considers Declaring Moscow Patriarchate a Terrorist Organization
Estonia's Interior Minister, Lauri Läänemets, has revealed plans to propose labeling the Moscow Patriarchate as a terrorist organization
Norway's King Harald V and his wife Queen Sonja, along with Prime Minister Jens Stoltenberg, members of the cabinet and politicians from all parties attended Sunday the solemn mass for the victims of the Friday terrorist attacks.
They all laid flowers outside before entering the main Lutheran cathedral in Oslo. Memorial services are being held across the country. The mass in Oslo was aired live on TV.
The pews in the church were full, with the congregation spilling in the rain into the square outside, which was covered in candles and flowers, placed by people all through the night, BBC reports.
Stoltenberg told the mourners, many of whom were weeping, that the two days since the attacks took place felt like "an eternity - hours, days, and nights filled with shock and angst and crying. Each and every one of those who've left us is a tragedy - together, it's a national tragedy," he said.
Flags across the country are flying at half-staff.
At least 85 people died when a gunman ran amok on Utoeya Island Friday, hours after a bomb in Oslo killed seven. The dead toll might rise as bodies or body parts were in buildings damaged by the bomb but still too unstable to search. In addition, four people from the island camp shooting are yet to be found amidst fears some may have drowned after jumping into the lake to escape the bullets.
The number of those injured has been reported at 97.
Also on Sunday, police were carrying out an armed raid in eastern Oslo in connection with the attacks - though they gave no further details. According to anonymous sources the Delta anti-terrorist special task team is taking part as well.
Police say they were not looking for anyone else at the moment - though they had not ruled out that the suspect might have had help and warn of more operations in order to secure safety.
