The leader of Bulgaria's conservative Order, Law and Justice, RZS, party, Yane Yanev, has been placed under security, provided by the National Security Offices.
The information was reported Saturday by Yanev himself, who spoke for the Bulgarian National Radio, BNR, admitting he had received many threats.
According to the Conservative leader, the number of those threats turned staggering after the party withdrew support for the ruling, center-right Citizens for European Development of Bulgaria, GERB, and declared to be in opposition. He expressed personal gratitude to Prime Minister, Boyko Borisov for "providing him with normal work conditions.
Despite the gratitude, the RZS leader stressed the party will support the upcoming no-confidence vote against the cabinet "Borisov."
According to Yanev, the main motive of the Conservatives during the Monday no-confidence debates in the Parliament will be appointments in the system of the Interior Ministry in the last two years in exchange for cash or trading influence with the silent approval of Interior Minister, Tsvetan Tsvetanov.
Yanev further appealed to Tsvetanov to resign and spare Borisov and GERB the no-confidence vote.
