The body of a dead woman has been discovered late Friday evening in the Perlovska River in the Sofia Central Park Borisova Gradina.
The police found the body around 10 am in the vicinity of the "Yunak" stadium in the park, the TV Channel bTV reported Saturday.
It remains unclear if the second woman had been the victim of a crime or an accident or if this is a suicide case.
The Chief Secretary of the Interior, Kalin Georgiev, had arrived at the scene just minutes after the report that another body had been found in the park.
Witnesses, cited by the Bulgarian daily Dnevnik, say it has been a middle-aged woman, but she is yet to be identified along with the cause of death.
