Bulgaria's Dimitar Berbatov, who was top scorer of the English Premiership in 2011, is not very likely to repeat his success next season, according to a British bookmaker.
Manchester United's Berbatov is ranked only 9th among the most likely top scorers in Premiership for 2011-2012 by bookmaker "Ladbrokes".
Fernando Torres of Chelsea is the most likely top scorer for next year, according to Ladbrokes, with a ratio of 8:1, followed by Carlos Tevez (9:1), and by two Man United players, Wane Rooney and Javier Hernandez (both 10:1).
These are followed by Aston Villa's Darron Bent and Arsenal's Robin van Persie (12:1 each), and Chelsea's Didier Drogba and Liverpool's Luis Suarez (14:1 each). Only then comes Berbatov with a ratio of 16:1, the same as Liverpool striker Andy Carrol's.
Berbatov has recently been left on the bench more often than not, and has been replaced with Javier Hernandez. His future remains uncertain a year before the end of his contract, and Manchester United has not indicated that it plans to offer him an extension.
In 2010-2011, Berbatov became the top scorer of Premiership together with Carlos Tevez, with each scoring 20 goals.
