Bulgarian Vice-Minister of Defense Avgustina Tsvetkova met Sunday the Bulgarian military contingent in Bosnia.

The 120-strong Bulgarian military unit in Bosnia and Herzegovina is part of the European Union's EUFOR ALTHEA mission, and is in charge of the security and defense of the Butmir base.

It includes a light infantry company, a support unit, a communications group, as well as officers at the staff of the operation.

Monday vice-minister Tsvetkova will participate in a strategic discussion on women-leaders in the field of national security and defense, organized by NATO.
