Given the way it is developing, in 1 to 2 years Bulgaria will reach a level of prosperity that will make it much more attractive than its neighbors, according to PM Boyko Borisov.
"Given the tempo with which we are building, in 1-2 years our country will overpass our southern neighbors," stated the Bulgarian PM near Dobrich during his roundtrip in eastern Bulgaria Sunday.
"The growth of the economy and the number of foreign tourists are a certain sign of recovery," said Borisov.
He added that his center-right GERB cabinet is extremely careful in the measures it is implementing and the priorities it is spending on, lest a case similar to neighboring Greece should befall Bulgaria.
"In Greece generations upon generations cannot repay their debts. I don't wan our children and grandchildren to pay for what we have done," stated the PM.
Sunday the Bulgarian PM was present at the launch of a number of new facilities, such as an electric power distribution unit in the Black Sea resort of Sunny Beach and the repaired road leading from Dobrich to the border with Romania.
GERB leader Boyko Borissov reacted to the fall of the Zhelyazkov government during a live broadcast on his official Facebook page, following the mass protests across the country.
