Bulgaria's Blue Coalition plans to leave the plenary hall during the no-confidence vote against the Borisov Cabinet scheduled for June 16, announced rightist leaders.

Blue Coalition co-chairs Ivan Kostov, and Martin Dimitrov spoke after a meeting of the parliamentary group of the right-wing formation.

The no-confidence procedure, initiated by opposition parties Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP) and ethnic Turkish Movement for Rights and Freedoms (DPS), is based on the allegedly abortive anti-crisis plan of the government.

Bulgaria's ruling party GERB has the necessary 121 votes to overturn the no-confidence motion because, apart from its 117 MPs, it has the support of 6 independent MPs. GERB also relies on the backing of its informal ally, far-right nationalist party Ataka, which has 17 MPs.

"Everyone is aware that this vote can not topple the government", Dimitrov said, adding that the Blue Coalition does not want to "play the game of the three-way coalition".

The right-wing leader believes that GERB and the three-way coalition are equally guilty for the failure of the anti-crisis program.

Dimitrov offered help for the preparation of a new set of economic recovery measures, claiming that "GERB lacks the capacity" to accomplish the task.

A special declaration stating the motives behind the vote would be issued later, the Blue Coalition informed, adding that it may seek a no-confidence motion over the failures of Interior Minister Tsvetan Tsvetanov.

Following a three-hour session Tuesday, the Blue Coalition council failed to agree on how to proceed at the upcoming vote.
