Bulgaria's far-right, nationalist Ataka party, issued Thursday a declaration noting violations in the Parliamentary code during voting for changes at several Committees.
The declaration points out that in this situation all decisions, made by the Committee, would be invalid.
The Ataka Member of the Parliament, Pavel Shopov, stated the party had submitted a new proposal for changes in the Committees.
The Speaker of the Parliament, Tsetska Tsacheva, explained the proposals must be edited before entering plenary hall again.
Meanwhile, Siderov declared the people, who recently left the party, have been paid money to do so.
Valentin Nikolov, Ognyan Peychev and Kiril Gumnerov, left the parliamentary group of Ataka several days ago.
"My explanation is short – it is called money. I explained several times already to journalists, the media, and the MPs that the current Political Parties Act is written in a very wrong way, especially texts regarding State subsidies. According to this text, when an MP leaves their parliamentary group and declares himself or herself independent, but secretly vows allegiance to another party – BGN 50 000 of the subsidy get transferred from the first to the second party, which finds a way to reward its new ally with this money," Siderov stated.
When asked where the subsidy is really going after an MP leaves a parliamentary group, the Finance Ministry had refused information on the grounds the law postulates this information is classified.
The latest dissent left the Ataka group with 17 MPs. Kamen Petkov left the group in December, 2010.
