Football Hooligans Rage in Sofia Once Again

Unruly football fans marred once again post-game celebrations, marking the victory of the CSKA Football Club over Slaviya for the Cup of Bulgaria Wednesday evening.
About one hour after the match, a group of CSKA fans clashed with police over the smashing of several cars on a downtown Sofia street. The group has been stopped on their way to the Central Park known as Borisova Gradina. Four people have been arrested and spent the night at the 5th Police Precinct.
"We kept hearing loud noises, as usual after any game, and kept hoping our cars will not be damaged, but it happened," a neighbor told the TV channel bTV.
In addition, two young men have reported with knife wounds, seeking medical help, to the Sofia ISUL hospital and another one, along with a wounded police officer, have been treated at the emergency "Pirogov" hospital and later released.
