Bulgaria: British MPs Demand Inquiry over Bulgarian Behead Maniac

British MPs demanded inquiry into why Bulgarian maniac Deyan Deyanov was released from a UK psychiatric unit ahead of a horrifying murder of a British woman in Tenerife.

During the summer of 2010, Deyanov, 28, visited UK to see relatives was and admitted to the Ablett Psychiatric Unit at Glan Clwyd Hospital, North Wales. Even though his behaviour was constantly monitored - but he was allowed to leave the unit last October. Then, he headed to Los Cristianos in Tenerife, where he publicly beheaded 60-year old Jennifer Mills-Westley.

The North Welsh Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board confirmed that it provided assistance to North Wales Police in relation to a person detained for his own safety in the summer of 2010.

"There must be an urgent inquiry to find how someone in psychiatric care can be released, travel abroad and carry out such a crime," Labour MP Steve McCabel declared, as cited by The Sun.

Meanwhile, disturbing details keep emerging from the Bulgarian madman's past.

"He thought he was the Messiah. I told him he wasn't God and he was so angry, I thought he was going to kill me," Rachel Sharpe, 22, Deyanov's British ex, told The Sun."He told me he wanted to kill someone to see what it would be like, to cut someone up," she said.

On Wednesday, it turned out Deyanov had threatened to "massacre" 28-year old Nadia Milanova, the mother of his 3-year old daughter, in his home country.

Even though Deyanov failed to pay a fine for the threat, the Bulgarian authorities did not stop him from leaving the country and returning to Tenerife, where he had already worked in 2007

Just months before the brutal murder of Mills-Westley, Deyanov smashed a rock into security guard Fermin Suarez Perez's face, reportedly trying to kill him.
