The Supreme Court allowed to the exiled King Simeon to run at the forthcoming general elections to be held June 17, 2001.
The king's party called National Movement Simeon the Second passed through a long a complicated registration procedure, but at the end of the day it looks like all formallities were done.
King Simeon is currently in Paris looking for international support. It is widely expected that early next week he will announce his political and economical program, and his candidates for the parliament.
