New witnesses will take the stand in a Friday court session of the prolonged trial of the gruesome murder of the Sisters Rositsa (18) and Kristina (15) Belneyski.

The Belneyski sisters went missing in January 2006, after leaving a disco bar in the town of Pazardzhik. The sisters were found dead at the beginning of February near the town of Peshtera.

At Friday's sitting, the Pazardzhik District Court will hear Rumen Duparinski and Anton Stefanov, witnesses called by defendant Lazar Kolev's defense counsel. The two men are serving sentences in the Bobov Dol prison.

A witness named Shikrenov, who is an official of the Sofia prison, will also speak in court Friday. The man allegedly made the prisoners testify that Kolev was guilty.

At its April session, the Pazardzhik District Court questioned Vladimir Slavov-Ishirkovetsa, who claimed that Lazar Kolev had admitted to him that he had murdered the two girls.
