Bulgaria's Prime Minister Boyko Borisov expressed Wednesday his dissatisfaction with the questions journalists him, pointing out his government is in the middle of an infrastructural breakthrough.
"Stop whining, you are becoming populists, too! Today we are opening a railway, with the help of which BGN 400 M will be poured in infrastructure. Jobs are being created. Next year, billions will enter the state budget, which will facilitate a rise in salaries as well as retirement pensions," Borisov told journalists Wednesday.
His outburst followed a journalist's question concerning planned compensations for pensioners for the rising prices. He said this will be clear in June.
The Bulgarian Prime Minister spoke upon officially launching the rehabilitation of the railroad between the country's second largest city, Plovdiv, and the Black Sea city of Burgas.
"Today we are achieving something people have been waiting for in 20 years," Borisov said, as cited by the Dnevnik daily.
"Talking about highway and infrastructure, what we are doing today is that we are basically starting a railroad highway," he stated.
