The airport in the Bulgarian Black Sea city of Burgas will be used for a refueling hub for US Afghanistan missions.

On Wednesday, the Bulgarian government is expected to allow the arrival of four US KC-135 Stratotanker aerial refueling military aircrafts in the country Thursday, the 24 chasa daily reports. They will be used for refueling ISAF cargo and transport planes until June 12.

The temporary use of Burgas is provoked by routine repairs at the Turkish Incirlik Air Base, which has served as a main hub for missions in support for the war in Afghanistan.
