Bulgaria's traffic police has busted a young woman driver with a record blood alcohol content.
The 31-year-old woman, whose name was not revealed, was arrested on southeast of Sofia on the Trakiya Highway Thursday, after she was found to be driving with a blood alcohol content of .472 (4.72 promiles). (.350 is the level of anesthesia).
The woman was promptly taken by the police to a Sofia hospital. Her blood alcohol content is record for a female driver even though Bulgaria has several cases of men being caught with record blood alcohol contents such as a 67-year-old man busted in Plovdiv with .914 in 2005.
