Bulgarian Christmas Charity Campaign Raises Over 2.5 Million Leva
The recent charity show held at the Ivan Vazov National Theatre as part of the Bulgarian Christmas initiative amassed a remarkable donation exceeding BGN 2,550,000
Top Bulgarian businessmen and popular figures will participate in "Fairy Dance", an event which aims at raising funds for abandoned Bulgarian children, on April 29 at 7:30 pm in Sofia hall at Kempinski Hotel Zografski in Sofia.
The idea of "Fairy Dance" is to gather on one stage leading businessmen, popular figures of the cultural and political elite, and professional dancers who dance voluntarily for its cause – every child to have a family.
The patron of the event is the Minister of Sports Svilen Neykov.The celebrities who will dance for "Fairy Dance" are Zoya Paunova – CEO of AstraZeneca for Bulgaria; Simona Peicheva – rhytmic gymnastics competitor; Evgenya Radanova - competitor in short track; Kalina Krumova – the youngest MP in the 41 Bulgarian National Parliament.
The charity evening will be opened by foster children and their friends from Dance Academy who will dance for the sake of the kids who live alone and forgotten at social institutions. The most successful Bulgarian dancing couples in sports and ballet shall make a show.
The culmination of the evening will be the performances of the benefactors who will show what they have learned and in this way will give a chance to more children to find their foster families.
