A group of 40 Japanese children who have lost their homes in the disastrous 9-degree earthquake will be coming to Bulgarian medieval capital Veliko Tarnovo for a month's stay.

The kids will have the opportunity to rest, lead a healthy life and get some diversion from what happened to them.

The invitation is extened by the Society for Friendship between Japan and Bulgaria, and involves the Veliko Tarnovo Univesity, as well as the local Bishopric, who are going to provide persons to take care of the kids.

The group will be accompanied by two adults from Japan.

Local families have also offered to act as hosts to the kids, but the organizers considered this might be a more stressful option, so the children will stay together at a hotel or similar establishment, free of charge.
