Bulgaria: Turkey's Economy Booming with Highest 2010 Growth in Europe File map

Turkey registered the highest economic growth in Europe in 2010, according to data of the Turkish Statistical Institute.

Turkey's economy grew by 12% in the first quarter of 2010, by 10.3% in the second quarter, by 5.2% in the third quarter, and by 9.2% in the fourth quarter.

Its final 2010 growth amounted to 8.9%, which is the highest since 2004.

In 2010, Turkey's GDP was USD 736 B, or USD 10 079 per capita.
