Italy's Trentino BetClic, led by Bulgarian Radostin Stoychev and including three Bulgarian players, claimed on Sunday evening the CEV Champions League cup for the third consecutive year.

Trentino defeated Zenit (Kazan) in four close sets (25-17, 20-25, 25-23, 25-20), cementing its reputation as the most successful volleyball team of the past decade.

Bulgarian Matey Kaziyski topped the best spiker ranking and was described by commentators as the real match winner.

Radostin Stoychev's team became the first in history to have won the title three times ever since the contest was launched in 2000-01.

In the past couple of seasons the team edged out Iraklis Thessaloniki and Dinamo Moscow and topped the standings of the 2009 and 2010 FIVB Club World Championships.
