Egypt's Vice President Omar Suleiman has urged the relentless protesters around the country to go home and go to work speaking shortly after President Mubarak said he would delegate him some of his power.

Millions of protesters in Egypt became infuriated as Hosni Mubarak's televised address Thursday night failed to bring them what they had hoped for – the President's resignation.

Instead, Mubarak gave a patronizing speech that outlined his support for political changes in the country.

"I call upon the young people to go back home and to their work places. Let's work together, let's be constructive together,"  Suleiman said seeking to get the protesters to cool off.

He  also described the events in Egypt as a historical chance for his country.

"There is time for dialogue until the fall," Suleiman said meaning the presidential elections scheduled in September.

"I am ready to do what is necessary in order to carry out a transition in power in accordance with the Constitution," the VP explained as cited by CNN.

He explicitly thanked the army for protecting the rallies of the protesters from provocateurs.
