The jackpot for the upcoming draw on Sunday is expected to be almost BGN 4 M in the “6 of 49” game of the Bulgarian state lottery known as “Toto”.

No one guessed the right numbers on Thursday, when the lottery sum was BGN 3,488,112. The jackpot on Sunday is expected to be the fifth record-high in the history of the Bulgarian Toto.

The price for a lottery ticket will be BGN 1,20. The state lottery has announced it is using the money to continue its initiative to build playgrounds for socially disadvantaged children.

So far, the biggest lottery win in Bulgaria amounted to BGN 5,404,418. It was won on August 12, 2004.

The absolute record-high jackpot was registered in June 2010. It amounted to BGN 6,575,225 and was supposed to be received by a person from the Bulgarian city of Lovech in a 45-day period, who failed to appear and request the money.
