As the Bulgarian MPs' winter break is over, the National Assembly's new session is to begin on Wednesday.

During 2011's first sitting, the different parliamentary groups are expected to express their key priorities for the upcoming year.

The oppositional Bulgarian Socialist party (BSP) will demand that a special parliamentary inquiry commission, regarding the scandal which erupted towards the end of 2010, which involved the former Head of the Agriculture Fund Kalina Ilieva's forged German diploma.

The rightist Blue Coalition will propose amendments to the state budget law.

The ruling centrist GERB party is expected to propose a declaration concerning the active Bulgarian diplomats which turned out to be former Communist State Security agents by the end of the working week.
