The dispatch center at the airport in the Bulgarian Black Sea city of Varna has received an alert about a technical failure in a craft of the low budget carrier WizzAir.
The call about the A320 plane traveling from London to Varna with 152 passengers on board had come at 6:25 pm, the airport's press center informs.
The airport has been immediately placed in high alert with the gathering of all emergency and rescue teams, fire trucks, and police from the airport as well as teams from the city.
The plane landed normally and the rescue teams have not been used at all. They were dismissed after the landing.
