Turkey's Besiktas will strike a deal with Parma for the purchase of Bulgarian striker Bojinov in 48 hours, according to Italian media reports.
In July 2010, Bozhinov signed a 5-year contract with the Italian team, but his performance during the fall season has been largely seen as disappointing with the Bulgarian player spending lots of time on the bench and scoring only twice.
Even though teams such as the English clubs Wigan and Newcastle and the French Bordeaux have been reported to target the purchase of Bojinov from Parma, Besiktas has now been reported to emerge as the most likely buyer.
Besiktas will probably first lease Bojinov from Parma, and will have the right to acquire him next year, which is actually how Parma got Bojinov from the English club Manchester City in the first place.
