Two anonymous phone calls have been received in the police department of the Bulgarian town of Pleven Thursday warning about an assassination plot against the Prime Minister of the country, Boyko Borisov.

The perpetrator – a 32 year-old man with a crime record - has been quickly found and apprehended by the police, the Bulgarian Interior Ministry informs.

The police has taken him directly to a hospital, since he has been seriously intoxicated.
