Bulgarian Minister of Culture Vejdi Rashidov's proposal for a grand European charity concert in help of a demolished Haiti theater has been accepted by the EU Council Of Ministers, according to the Bulgarian Ministry of Culture.

The concert's goal will be to raise money for the re-building of the National cinema-theater 'Triumph' in Haiti after it was destroyed by the devastating earthquake in January.

With this initiative, Rahidov supported French Minister of Culture and Communication Frederic Mitterand, who proposed that EU should take action in the rebuilding of "Triumph"on the previous meeting of the EU Council of Ministers..

During the meeting of European Ministers in Brussels on "Education, Youth, Culture and Sport", a draft of the Working Plan for Culture 2011-2014 was discussed.
