The Interior Ministry has refused any comments while the National Security Services declined answering if the PM's security has been upped.
It is reported that 4 months ago, foreign intelligence have caught a meeting between well-known Bulgarians in the 5-star King George Palace hotel in Athens, dedicated to a discussion of how to eliminate the PM and with him police terror in Bulgaria.
According to the report, the meeting's participants arrived on yachts accompanied by a number of bodyguards.
This is the third alleged assassination plot against Borisov.

Borisov declined to say the exact period of his political career when this happened, but according to the services this was a 40-minute conversation, 5 years ago, when the later was the Chief Secretary of the Interior. The callers were the now-deceased notorious mafia bosses Konstantin Dimitrov aka Samokovetsa and Ivan Todorov aka the Doctor, who were taped by foreign intelligence saying: "We will bring down this lame fireman and then kill him." The tape has been sent to the Bulgarian Unit for Combating Organized Crime (GDBOP).
Around the same time, Serbian authorities alarmed of a plot against Borisov over the arrest in Sofia of Serbian Drug Lord, Sreten Josic, who, meanwhile, was sentenced in Belgrade to 15 years behind bars.
During the summer, Bulgarian media published a number of reports that Bulgarian crime group codenamed "The Killers" had received an order to kill the PM with some claiming the mastermind had been again Josic, placing the order through his Bulgarian best man and alleged ringleader of "The Killers," Petar Stoyanov aka the Chieftain.
