According to the preliminary investigation, around 7 pm on Sunday, C.C., 28, has been hit on the neck by a 5-ton machine used to ignite aircraft engines.

The equipment slid from a platform and fell on the ranger, who has been doing loading work on the runway.

The Novo Selo grounds, the airports in Bezmer and Graf Ignatievo are used jointly by the US and Bulgarian armies for training.
