US Discovery Communication company launches in Bulgaria on October 1 its new channel TLC, which will emphasize on modern women's lives – everything from food, family, and fashion to travel, health and life events.
The Bulgarian launch is part of Discovery's drive to expand TLC to new territories, including Poland, Serbia, Slovenia.

The new channel will be the local versions of the American program. Until now Discovery Channel, which is part of Discovery Communication company, was available in Bulgaria on digital satellite platforms. It was displayed with Bulgarian subtitles since 2000-2001.
Starting June, the subtitles were replaced with dubbing in Bulgarian in a bid to make the channel accessible to more people.
Along with the launching of the channels, the international company will give more opportunity for the Bulgarian advertisers.
