Sofia South Park Hosts Weekend Festivities

Sofia residents and visitors can enjoy Sunday great weather and a series of festivities in South Park in the occasion of the day of the Bulgarian capital. File photo
The Sofia City Hall is organizing Sunday a fest in "Yuzhen Park" (South Park) dedicated to September 17, the Day of Sofia.
The celebrations are taking place from 10 am to 9:30 pm and include performances, arts and crafts, kids' entertainment and picnics.
Representatives of the Bulgarian Vets Union are offering free exams for household pets, free dog and cat food, free vaccine and chips.
The initiative is held under the patronage of Deputy Mayor, Hristo Angelichin. The City Hall asks everyone to bring blankets and their best mood.
