The jet ski watercraft of three men on a charity trip from the UK to New Zealand were stolen in a Bulgarian Danube port.

The two New Zealanders and one Croat had set off on a 32 000 km route from London to Auckland, NZ, in order to set a world record for longest jet ski trip. They intended to use the record to raise funds for cancer research.

However, their personal watercraft were disappeared overnight from the port of Kozloduy, a Bulgarian town on the Danube.

It is still unclear whether the stolen watercraft might be recovered shortly, and if the men will continue their jet ski trip.
