Russia’s national football team have won 1:0 against Bulgaria in a friendly match.
The only goal in the match played in St. Petersburg Wednesday night was scored in the 6th minute by Roman Shikorov.
Both teams managed to organize a number of dangerous attacks by the end of the match but to no avail.
The friendly was supposed to be played in the Russian capital Moscow but was moved to St. Petersburg because of the problems with the wildfires in the Moscow region.
The match against was the last friendly for Bulgaria before the start of the qualifications for the European Cup 2012.
