A second strong earthquake with a magnitude of 6 has hit the Vanuatu archipelago in the South Pacific.

On Wednesday, the earthquake hit at 75 km west-northwest of Vanuatu’s capital Port Vila with a depth of 41 km, the CNN has reported.

There has been no warning for tsunami following the quake.

On Tuesday, an earthquake with a magnitude of 7,5 shook Vanuatu, generating a small tsunami with a 23 cm wave.

Vanuatu is located in the South Pacific Ocean, about three quarters of the way from Hawaii to Australia, and includes numerous islands.
