At least 700 million viewers worldwide are expected to watch the 2010 World Cup final between the Netherlands and Spain Sunday night.

FIFA expects that the number of TV viewers around the world for the 2010 final in Johannesburg will be higher than that in the 2006 final in Germany.

The data of the world organization shows that 32 million Germans watched the semi-final between Germany and Spain as did 13.3 million Spanish.

FIFA also says there was increased interest in the World Cup among the population of the Middle East despite the mysterious blurring of the Al Jazeera signal during the opening game between South Africa and Mexico.
