Bulgaria and France Sign Deal for Joint Acquisition of 3D Radars

Bulgaria’s police have carried out a special police operation against an organized crime group trading with cars stolen in Austria, France, and Italy.
The operation code named “Dzambazite” - slang word for car thieves in Bulgarian – was carried out in the northwestern city of Vratsa.
The police captured ten luxury vehicles stolen in Western Europe including five different models of Audi, a Toyota Landcruiser, a BMW 320, a Mercedes C 220, a BMW X6, a BMW 525. They have arrested two men.
Bulgaria’s Interior Minister Tsvetan Tsvetanov declared that the operation is continuing, and is an example about the cooperation of the police services of the EU member states.
“No matter whether it is about stolen cars trade or drug trafficking, our cooperation always yields good results. This operation would not have been realized without good and efficient cooperation,” Tsvetanov said.
