Answering the request of the Obama Administration, Bulgaria agreed to resettle a released prisoner from the US detention facility at Guantanamo.

After spending about 10 years in the US prison for terrorists and Al Qaeda operatives, the man arrived in Sofia over the week enjoying the promise of the Bulgarian government that he will be taught Bulgarian and given a chance to find a job, and to integrate in the Bulgarian society.

Interestingly enough, the sentence that the former prisoner uttered in Bulgarian after the immediate start of his language training was, "I want back in Guantanamo!"
