A fatal accident,, in which a train killed a biker, has temporarily blocked trains on the Sofia – Kulata line between Bulgaria and Greece.

The information was reported Sunday by the Traffic Police in the southern city of Blagoevgrad. The fatality happened at 10 am when a man crossed the railroad in front of the locomotive of the Sofia-Kulata train and was killed on the spot.

The victim has been identified as Atanas Avramov, 33, from the nearby village of Marikostino.
