Leading Bulgarian IT company Musala Soft has registered a 22% growth of sales in 2009 compared to 2008.
The company announced it realized commercial projects for foreign clients as scientific applications projects financed by the Scientific Research Fund of the Bulgarian Ministry of Education, Youth, and Science.
In 2009, Musala Soft appointed 20 new employees. The company has seen this as a proof that it has not suffered from the economic crisis. It has also pointed out that in 2009 it became the first firm in Bulgaria and the region to receive a level 3 appraisal under the CMMI (Capability Maturity Model Integration).
“Our 2009 growth is thanks to the harmony within our departments. In addition to our good economic results, Musala Soft has set up a scientific research unit of its own (an Innovation Center), which is focusing exclusively on applied science research together with academic institutions, and innovative centers of other commercial centers,” said Delyan Lilov, CEO of Musala Soft.
Some of the partners with which Musala Soft realized applied science projects including the Mathematics and Computer Science Department and Physics Department of the Sofia University St Kliment Ohridski; the Mathematics and Computer Science Institute of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences; the Scientific Research Sector of the Sofia Technical University.
Musala Soft is specializing in software services for the integration of business applications, systems and analyses. It has developed methodology to execute projects under complicated setups including geographical dispersion, remote access, organizational obstructions and tight deadlines, and has worked with clients such as DHL, EnBW, HP, IBM, OMV, SAP, as well as small and medium-sized enterprises in Bulgaria, Western Europe and USA.
