Bulgarian striker Valeri Bojinov has made it clear he doesn't want to return to Manchester City two months after the club said it could sell his rights as part of a deal involving a Parma midfielder.

The Bulgaria international, 23, has been outstanding on-loan at Parma this season and struck the winner in last night's victory over AC Milan.

"I am thinking only about Parma,“ Bojinov said at the final whistle, as cited by www.tribalfootball.com.

"I hope the club will re-sign me because I want to stay here for a long time," he said.

Two months ago Manchester City said it will sell Bojinov's rights as part of a deal involving Parma midfielder McDonald Mariga at the end of January.

City were ready to bid EUR 7 M for Mariga, according to reports in Italy, and could offer Valeri Bojinov as part of the deal.
