Romanian Police Officers to Patrol Bulgarian Resort
This year's first group of four Romanian police officers are to start patrolling the Bulgarian Black Sea resort of Albena together with their Bulgarian colleagues on Sunday.
Romanians are flocking to the Bulgarian Sea coast for Easter, the Romanian daily “Capital” writes Saturday.
The affordable prices, the numerous charter flights, and the introduction of interesting destinations are the “hooks” travel agencies use to attract customers for the Easter break, according to the publication.
Over 10 000 Romanians are going to spend Easter abroad, half of them in Bulgaria. Many will also travel to Greece. In addition to the good deals, the fact that both countries are Christian Orthodox is another attraction.
Bulgaria remains the most attractive as far as the price-ratio factor with prices starting at EUR 77 for three days “all inclusive” in a 3-star hotel and reaching EUR 200 for a 5-star one, the publication points out. Bulgaria put on the table surprises such as offers that are 20% lower and a system of bonuses such as free stay for children.
Another 100 000 Romanians are expected to visit local resorts over Easter where there are also 20% discounts.
