Bulgaria police have arrested a 27-year-old charity worker for child pornography offenses in Silistra.
The man, who worked as a volunteer in a humanitarian organization where he led lectures on the prevention of drug addiction and sexual-risk behavior, was arrested Thursday after a 2-month operation by the Unit for Combating Organized Crime (GDBOP).
He allegedly produced and disseminated child pornography on the internet from his Silistra base. A police raid of his property revealed computers containing hundreds of images of underage boys - 13-16 years old.
In some of the images and videos the man posed with a knife or a gun aimed at the heads of the boys and some of the children were handcuffed, the police revealed.
