Passenger Vehicle Sales See Sharp Uptick in Bulgaria
New passenger car registrations in Bulgaria in May 2021 added up to 1989, an increase of 76.
Bulgaria’s new cars market declined by 44% in February 2010 year-on-year.
According to the Association of Car Producers and Authorized Dealers, only 1 248 new cars were sold in Bulgaria in February.
However, the decline is slowing down compared to a drop of 47,6% in January, and of 52% in all of 2009.
A total of 7,6% more new cars were sold in Bulgaria in February compared to January when Bulgarians purchased 1 160 new cars.
With 2 408 new cars sold in the first two months of 2010, the decline compared to the same period of 2010 is 46%.
The French brand Peugeot turned out to be the most popular in Bulgaria in January-February with 265 new cars, or 10,69% of all sales.
