Bulgarian Producers Claim Carrefour Owes Them BGN 20 M in Payment Arrears

The “Made in Bulgaria” organization has presented its awards aimed at boosting the Bulgarian business sector.
The 16th annual “Golden Martenitsa” prizes were given out on Monday, March 1, the Bulgarian holiday of Baba Marta, known also as “Martenitsa.”
The awards were in four categories aimed at recognizing achievements in the business sector and competitiveness in Bulgaria and abroad.
IKOM Ltd, a Bulgarian GPS firm which has proven successful internationally, received the Golden Martenitsa in the “Bulgarian Producer” category.
KNAUF Bulgaria has received the award in the “Economic Cooperation” category for its EUR 62 M investment into a new factory for compressed plaster boards in the Galabovo Municipality.
MKB Unionbank was awarded for being a “Financial Institution Creating Good Conditions for the Crediting of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises.”
The fourth Golden Martenitsa award, in the “Media” category, went to Leonora Lekova, a journalist of the Trud Daily for her coverage of economic developments in Bulgaria.
