The police discovered Saturday a second body in the Plana Mountain near the Bulgarian capital Sofia.

The information was announced by the Chief Secretary of the Interior Ministry, Kalin Georgiev, disproving Friday reports that two dead bodies have been discovered by the police in the outskirts of Sofia.

On Friday, the Interior disclosed they found at that location the body of kidnapped car thief Yulian Lefterov aka Kunfuto (The Kung Fu), but it was reported hours later that a second body has been located near the village of Zheleznitsa. Lefterov, who was a member of the former Bulgarian mafia group SIC, was allegedly kidnapped by the gang busted in December 2009, and popularly known as "The Impudent". The Kung Fu disappeared one year ago from a street in the Sofia “Lozenets” district.

Ivaylo Evtimov, aka Yozhi, known as the leader of “The Impudent” gang, is said to have sealed an agreement with the prosecutors, trading his testimony for lighter charges, according to unnamed sources from the prosecutor's office. It has been his information that led the police to Lefterov’s body.

It is believed the second body belongs to Ivan Petrov aka Sapata, who is know as yet another person providing stolen cars for “The Impudent.”
