A quarter of Bulgarians do not even think about going on summer vacation this year
US President Barack Obama is expected to fly to Hawaii on Thursday, once the outcome of the US Senate vote on his healthcare reform bill is decided.
The White House press office has announced the president will vacation in Honolulu with his family until January 3.
Obama was born in the US state of Hawaii, living there until the age of 6, when his mother took him to Indonesia with her second husband.
He returned in 1971, living with his grandparents until he had graduated high school.
The Obama family also took their vacation in Hawaii in 2008. On this occasion, the US President is visiting to pay a final tribute to his grandmother, who passed away shortly after his election to the presidency in January.
Meantime,it has been reported that U.S. authorities had arrested and charged a woman in Hawaii last week for allegedly threatening to kill President Barack Obama's wife, Michelle, during their planned vacation.
