Serbia is going to table its application for EU membership on December 22, 2009, in Sweden’s capital Stockholm.
The news has been announced by the Serbian Presidency as quoted by the Serbian Radio and Television RTS.
Sweden’s Prime Minister Fredrik Reinfeldt, who currently chairs the rotating EU Presidency, is quoted as saying he would be glad to accept Serbia’s President Boric Tadic in Stockholm on December 22.
